Anime Expo 21 - Murasaki and MAX
Created in celebration of 21 years of Anime Expo, featuring Murasaki and the tentacle (Tentacle Grape), MAX (Danny Choo for Anime Expo), and AX’s little mascot cat and bunny characters.
AX will be giving away commemorative bottles of Tentacle Grape soda featuring this image at their Lounge 21 event. I think they’re handing out promotional flyers with the artwork too. :)

The fine folks behind Tentacle Grape soda recently contacted me to do the new illustration for their Tentacle Grape label. It was a really fun project; they gave me free rein to explore the concept, so long as it involved tentacles and the classic anime schoolgirl.
